He simply meant, What autel scanner are you attempting the programming of a Smart key to a Toyota or Lexus with? Other relevant information might be the Toyota software version level on the tool and model and year of vehicles you tried it on so far without success so far.The people who continually create posts without providing this basic information , What does that mean ? IMO , it means these folks likely are Idiots:-)) -

2018 Toyota Camry is a good start for information . So WTF tool are you using , a MS906 BT?, a DS808 ? What Toyota software version ?If you have Maxi Sys it has an App called Function Viewer. Select your platform , and make , model and year of your vehicle and look through the modules and functions it lists available for your vehicle . 2018 is still pretty new and Autel Engineers might need several years before some special functions are added on newer cars. You can at least do that and if you don't see it listed for 2018 model, it likely isn't available yet:-)) -

My guess is that some of these people seeking help providing little or no information here don't natively speak or write English and struggle to put together a single sentence question in English because they don't have access to google translate. They probably feel if they posted constructively in their native tongue , no one would bother to answer them anyway .I can imagine if the shoe was on the other foot, how long it would take for me , and how what an utterly stupid ignoramus I would sound like without google translator (and spell Checker)if I had to ask a question here in another language using only a translator guide book for words for my single sentence question, LMAO
